Optical joystick (packaging project)
A packaging project with a complicated logistic flow due to the non standard packaging concept. Contribution to the project: simplification of the flow / reduction of the cost and a more robust packaging solution.

Customer complaint (packing material)
One of the major customers from NXP HPMS experienced a complex problem in their board mounting area. The solution was found due to very close cooperation between the NXP assembly site, end-customer, material supplier and the board mounting equipment supplier.

Customer complaint (Line and field failures at the end customer)
The Automotive Business Line within NXP had a major line and field return issue at more than one of their key customers. A significant improvement was achieved after intensive cooperation with assembly sites in Asia and the Business Line and the wafer fabrication facility in Nijmegen.

Serious line yield / quality issues at product start-up
The PL Car & Immobilizers from the BU Automotive within NXP had assembly yield issues at the start-up of one of their new products. Delivery commitments were at stake and only after close and intensive cooperation with all stakeholders was the root cause of the problem found.

Training sessions
In the course of 2011 training sessions where added to the core activity of Triple-A-Solutions. The training covers semiconductor front-end, back-end and quality issues and is, because of the high level of audio/visual training material, suited for juniors as well as seniors in this industry. The pilot training was given at Continental in Regensburg Germany. Pls. review the feedback from the trainees and note that in the German rating system a 1 stands for outstanding and a 6 is used for the other end of the scale.
